Veen And ColourMod
Published by ColourMod September 17th, 2005 in Dashboard, News, Plug-N-Play, KonfabulatorIts not very often (pretty much never) that I would get to interact personally with a guy like Jeff Veen, but this weekend happened to break out of the norm. I went to a conference in Chicago, unbeknownst to me, Jeff Veen was one of the speakers. I didn’t make the connection because I didn’t think a guy of his caliber would be speaking at a conference that wasn’t exactly a high-profile conference. But nonetheless he was there.
I actually had a chance to talk with Jeff, showed him ColourMod, which I think his response was something like, “that’s beautiful!” Of course then he proceeded to show me what he was working on with Adaptive Path and my jaw dropped to the ground. Everyone knows this guy is doing cutting edge stuff, but what he has in the cooker is beyond amazing! Needless to say, I was greatly honored to be able to spend some time with Jeff and get inspired.

that’s cool, man!
i saw Jeff speak at WDW Seattle last year. he’s a great speaker! didn’t have the good fortune to speak to him personally, though. that’s pretty cool. I did get to talk to Doug Bowman at that same conference, though. That’s my claim to fame
Believe it or not I didn’t even get to hear him speak! Although, I get to listen to the recording. I was taking a PHP training class with Zend.
