ColourMod For The World
Published by ColourMod October 18th, 2005 in ColourModEver since the inception of ColourMod I’ve notice an interesting trend. ColourMod is more popular around the world than it is in the good ol’ US of A. I think the biggest reason is because of the English way of spelling “colour”, which in my opinion, is the coolest way to spell it. So I can understand it getting much more traffic and recognition in the European countries, but what baffles me the most is its popularity in Asian.
I get numerous referrers from Asian websites, all of which I cannot read. As I scan these pages I realize that ColourMod is the lone American website, amidst websites that I cannot read nor understand (I really wish I could). Is this because it is a great tool for the whole world, or it that they write “colour” the English (cool) way too, when they are using English? Or does my website design appeal to the Asian audience as well? I really have no clue. Anybody know?
