After much deliberation and good intentions, I realized I that I just don’t have the time to develop ColourMod like I would like. So I’m putting it up for sale. If you are interested visit the following link:
Production Has Begun
2 Comments Published by ColourMod June 28th, 2006 in News, Updates, ColourMod, InternetThe ColourMod API has officially been put into production! Yup, it won’t be long now before I have a working BETA version. Speaking of BETA versions, I will have a signup page up in the near future, but if you want to get your name in at the top of the BETA tester […]
Yeah, APIs are the coolest thing since sliced bread. I mean, think of all those people who had to actually slice their bread. That must have really sucked for them, moving their arm back and forth in a cutting motion. They must have had big muscles. Anyway, ColourMod is going the […]
ColourMod Based WP Theme
12 Comments Published by ColourMod March 8th, 2006 in Updates, ColourMod, InternetAndy Peatling must have read my mind when he set out to create the new WordPress theme called Durable. This theme is completely user customizable, using ColourMod as the colour picker of choice.
Check this theme out and play around with it. It is a lot of fun!
Chained To the PowerBook - Day 2/3
6 Comments Published by ColourMod February 24th, 2006 in DashboardDay 2 was unproductive. I just wasn’t happy with what I was coming up with, so, no sneak peaks from Day 2. Although, Day 3, was a lot more productive. After a drink and a batch of tater tots later, the ol’ creative juices got flowing. In my design delirium I […]
After much waiting and many Domain Monitoring status messages later I am now the proud papa of the domain www.colormod.com. My collection is complete. I now own colormod.com, colormod.org, colormod.net, colourmod.com, colourmod.org, colourmod.net. Not being able to own that domain was the real reason that I chose the “OU” spelling for ColourMod. […]
My first goal was to come up with a design for ColourMod that was much smaller, but still just as practical. Not much innovation here, except that I can be as cool as Apple and make my products tiny and call them mini. One thing that I’m going to be adding is skins […]
30 minutes into being chained to the PowerBook has been successful so far! I decided that I needed to make a much needed upgrade to Wordpress, which went very smooth. Yep, the boring ol’ default theme. Bear with me and you will be seeing something different.
I’ve always marveled at the popularity of ColourMod. I really didn’t set out to make it what it has become. ColourMod was birthed out a personal need that I had for a colour picker. I realized that every colour picker that someone had created either sucked, or didn’t work in one of […]
ColourMod Hearts ColorBurn
1 Comment Published by ColourMod February 14th, 2006 in Dashboard, News, Konfabulator, ColourMod, OS X, InternetIf you haven’t heard of ColorBurn yet I’ll be the first to let you know that it is a very cool widget. You might ask how I could promote someone elses colour related widget, when I’m obviously in the colour widget business. Well, ColorBurn displays palettes, ColourMod lets you choose colours. Anyway, […]
