Mike the Headless Chicken

Mike and I have much in common, well, minus the chicken part…and the no head part. Other than that we’re pretty much the same. Ok, so really I just feel like a chicken with its head cut off. Julie and I put our house up for sale earlier this week and weren’t […]

Did you know that ColourMod has been around for more than a year now (it feels like its been longer)? But within the past four months ColourMod has switched servers, released a brand spanking new webpage, trimmed, shrunk and beautified the ColourMod interface, released Dashboard and Konfabulator versions of ColourMod and has been […]

We’ve been hibernating around here at ColourMod. Hunkering down for the winter and what is to come. Things are expanding at a rapid rate and changing at a rapid rate. Within the next two or three months there will be some significant changes going on around here. I know, I know. […]

What is the next step is a question that I like to ask myself. Other people have been asking me that same question in regards to ColourMod. Here is my next step:

Microsoft Gadgets

It was only a matter of time before Microsoft would jump on the “Widget” bandwagon, only they are going to be calling their “Widgets,” Gadgets. This is a very interesting development in my mind. The structure of Microsoft Gadgets is RSS/XML/DHTML based, meaning that you will be able to use a Gadget via […]

ColourMod On Top

Macsimum News has reported twice (2 and a half weeks apart) that ColourMod is topping the list of widgets at DashboardWidgets.com. Behind Apple.com, DashboardWidgets.com has one of the largest selections of Dashboard Widgets on the internet.

There have been many people asking about the license for ColourMod. I’ve decided to set up a page that covers the basics of the ColourMod license. It is pretty straightforward. Any questions, comments, clarifications should be made on this article.

Widget Version 1.9 Released

You’ve been asking for it and now you’ve got it. CMYK input and output conversions have been added to ColourMod for Dashboard. The color conversion collection is now complete.
Other minor updates include adding the “info” button to all views of ColourMod. This enables you to get to the flip-side from any view. […]
