Just ran across this step-by-step redesign concept of Dirk Knemeyer’s website (it isn’t implemented yet). I find that examples like these are good reminders of how planning and forethought need to be a part of the overall design process. The end product is simply amazing and implemented very well.

Everytime you use a table in your webpage (inappropriately) a cute, fuzzy, kitten, somewhere in the world starts to cry.
